What pressure washer?

Post by ShaneyB » Thu Aug 27, 2009 11:35 am

Hi All,
Can any of you recommend a good pressure washer for the car, patio etc? I'm tempted to get the most powerful thing known to man but obviously concerned about my cars paintwork.

Any help appreciated as always.

Cheers
Shane

I've got a Karcher jobby, from B&Q. They wre doing a sale so...
Tis fine for all jobs so far. Just need to be careful on pressure - has taken out mortar joints from the patio slabs before, so tend not use it for the car anymore, or maybe just the inside of wheel arches.

Tend to just use the 'shower' option on the hose gun now for the car...

Car pressure washer in different car wash equipments range from 1 hp to 40 hp and pressure range from 20 to 200 bar. All required accessories like high pressure hose, trigger operated gun, unloader valve, and pressure relief valve, etc are available with this car washer pump. Variable angle nozzle is a part of this car pressure washing and cleaning.

check out the discount den. (type it in to google) - i bought mine from there with a warranty.

for the money its great, dont need great amount of pressure for washing (will damage paint) but get one with a vario lance so you can vary the pressure of the water coming out of the gun, (you'l see what i mean if you get one)

Karcher for the win - wouldnt buy anything else.
Avus B5 RS4, Miltek down pipes/No cats/Miltek Cat-back, Wagner uprated SMIC's, short shifter, B7 brakes, Phaeton brake ducts, H&R ARB's, H&R Coilovers, AWE DTS, MRC custom Remap + water meth injection = BIG GRIN on my face with poo in my passengers pants

You could do with buying one with an ali pump, some karchers use plastic pumps and fail quickly. I have a Nilfisk and it's been good so far
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!
