Just had my car in with Gtechniq, thought that I would post a couple of shiny car pictures. :)

What top coat wax did they use.

There were no waxes used! Gtechniq use thier own polish and then paint protection system. The system they use bonds to the paint and essentially forms a new surface. There is lots of talk about nanotechnilogy which I would do a disservice to in trying to explain it, as I don't understand it, so more info here http://www.gtechniq.com/tech.htm.

The end goal is that the car should keep looking like that with basic washing, further waxing is not necessary although the do thier own QD product called C3. The wheels and windows were also sealed, the windows are great. Driving in the rain without the wipers on is an experience :)

Haven't cleaned the car yet, was going to give it a week and then see what the effort was like to clean it and how it came up.
