3 - Stage Meguiars Polish

Post by JohnH » Mon Aug 11, 2003 2:08 pm

Am about to do the 3-Stage Polish later this week so wanted to get any tips to ensure best results. Will be using:
Gold Class Car Wash
Deep Crystal Cleaner
Deep Crystal Polish
Gold Class Clear Coat Wax

Will Wash using Mitt and dry with drying Towel. Apply wax etc with applicator pad, then use towel to rub off then turn over and buff followed by final polish with ultimate wipe.

Any tips on timings how long to leave between stages etc most appreciated.

I reckon my only comments are

make sure the car is in a cool place, this really is a must, especially with the hot weather as the product will dry too quickly and it will be an arse to buff off

I dont thnk there is really any special time to leave product, just until it is dry enough to buff really, a good idea is to put it one quite thin and maybe coat stage 2 and 3 twice to get a deeper shine and greater wax protection

I think thats it really

Cheers
