at 1730 near Aston Fields on the A38
X923 *** I believe, didn't catch full plate as in shock, driver looked just old enough to shave!

RS6 (MRC'd with econodrive) is not just for Xmas

I don't no if i should say thanks and take that as a compliment or not, i am 36 so i suppose i should be happy to look that young still :D .

Compliment definitely!
I was in an A4 TDI Sport Avant in convoy with a blue S3, we both had our headlights on as had been caught in showers.
We were turning off the A38 up to Finstall

Now that you mentioned what car it was i do recall the S3, i looked back in the mirror to double check what it was, sometimes you just can't be sure.

Don't recall the A4 but it was nice to sort of see you anyway.

I saw you clock the S3 which with its alloy mirrors has been mistaken for an RS4 from the front and the xenons are quite piercing.
The driver was around 60 so he would have been quite distinctive.
Nice to see another RS4 close up on the road, most cars I see are going the other on the motorway!
