It was an RS4, my brother-in-law caught up with the driver the other day. Its a loan car while his A8 is being repaired. It's got the meter, the taxi light, the lot. He was bitching because it's costing him loads in petrol.

Unbelievable - surely the driver is asking to get carjacked?!

I would have thought no one would get in thinking it was more expensive or a joke ;)

I've seen this car just last week as well - couldn't believe it; however, it makes sense now...... A8 being the usual taxi I mean

I've actually seen it twice - each time on the A1000 (Broadwater Road) where it meets Bridge Road.

You?

More or less the same place, I saw it outside Waitrose going up Bridge Road as I came out of John Lewis.

surly he would have refused this as a courtesy car, esp if it was going to be used as a Taxi, or maybe he does not know what a RS4 is!

Prior to the B7 being released, I would agree with you...

However, the B7 put the RS4 on the map to the "average Joe" - he knows what an RS4 is...

It's probably just another car to him though, especially being a taxi driver; one that's costing him more than his car!

true, but he must be well out of pocket, It would not surprise me if ppl where grabbing a Taxi just to "experience" a ride in a RS4, I know I would of prior to owning one!
