putting in consistan 8:30's on a mentally busy weekend well happy with the set up, but was suffering with the ds2500's on the AP's. I forgot how heavy these cars really are!!

The dust was pink...really bizarre!
H&R Nurburgring set up, 3 way adjustable coil-overs. Lovely bit of kit.....

@ Cossymad, your car looked great - saw it a couple of times queuing at the entrance and also at full chat coming down the straight after Hatzenbach.
Here is mine at the Karusell:

I saw yours a few times, with a red one that had Miltek stickers all over it.
Your has the same rims as I have at home, mtm 19's and the red one with sportec rims. How did the RS6 brakes hold out? I saw you both went out together a few times, but I did most of my laps first thing in the morning, and last thing at night....hoping for a bit of a clear lap!!

The "sticker with the red car on it" belongs to Rich (Chubby). The brakes held up pretty well to be honest; they didn't fade, but when I came in from the first and second laps they were smoking so badly I thought they were on fire! One of the problems was that we were having to queue to get off the track so there was no way of cooling them down until we got out to the road. After 8 laps they started to vibrate quite badly and I thought the discs were warped, but after a few high speed stops on the motorway on the way home they seem to have sorted themselves out, so probably just pad deposits. Rich has got the B7 discs and calipers and they seemed to hold up better than mine.

Yes I know what you mean about queing to exit the track, hence why I went out at different times.
Only issue I had all weekend was all the fuel stops!!!
Jesus, I know they are not really that good on fuel, it is no wonder ALL the local garages ran out of 100 & 98 ron, with all our RS4's there!!

Both B7's were on Dunlops (didn't notice the model no. though). Not sure what cossymad was running. Sorry, not much help really!
I'd love to see the pics of the B7 at Combe - perhaps you could e-mail them to me at

I think the Red RS4 B7 with black 5 spokes was on R888's.
I was running 255/35/18 Pirelli Corsa's medium compound...not much left of them on the edges now though!!

In fairness, I had the pressures too high and the temp of the track pushed them even higher.
Did you see the RS4 B7 with 19" CARBON DYMAGS??
Soooo cooool!!!

Cossy you are on the tyres I've tried to get 4 the last year....just can't get them on 19's..some crap about back order etc
Didn't think the Toyo semi slick R888's (19's) were out yet...?
