Okay...maybe I should choose my words a bit better.... :knob:

Spotted R8 (dark grey) initially on the A14, driving fairly leisurely @ about 1400hrs last Friday.

5 to 10 mins later got excited (sorry - I'm passionate about motors, especially Audi's) as it pulled along side me @ the roundabout near Tesco's on the A12. Thought I would exchange a friendly hi - nice motors etc...but got no response from the guy - oh well, not everyone is as passionate...

As he was in the L/H lane, presumed he was turning left...lights went to green, went over r/about with R8 in moderate traffic - R8 got stuck behind a truck & then tried (no indication) to come out in front of me.

I'm usually quite a laid back & courteous driver - BUT I can't stand people who push in.

I think he made some remark & pulled in behind me...traffic cleared - he moved quickly up onto my B7's bumper (I don't usually get into silly wars on the road by the way) - but clear empty road in front seemed very inviting, thought what the heck - floored the old girl from about 5k revs, with the 'fast' moving R8 slipping slowly away behind me...got to about 70ish (I do tell a white lie now and again) - he was clearly still on the charge, but still slipping behind - then hit the nxt r/about & never seen him again...

I thought these cars were fast...

Maybe he was just one of these 'I luv myself - look @ my motor types' or maybe not - but not the friendly type, certainly wont be on this site (probably too below him) - but one things for sure - he can't drive his powerful car...

PS Lovely car though...

maybe he was low on petrol or still running it in, so couldn't really come out to play.
Agreed though, no reason to act like a to$$er just cos he has a new car.
