Avus RS4 B5 at pace, Sunday 18/09

Spotted when cruising home 10:30am Sunday morning after a trip to the Peak District. Heading south down a quiet M1 around J23 J22, the B5 Avus RS4 blasted by in lane 3. Lovely noise; didn't sound OE. Must have been doing a good 120~130 mph. Didn't get any of the vrn - yes it was going that fast. Looked like it was on standard alloys. Approaching a car in the middle lane overtaking a truck, the Audi offered an Autobahn-style flick of the right indicator from its rapid approach in lane three. Gone! Just hope it slowed up through the specs-governed 40 mph roadworks a few junctions further south.
