Dirty, thunderously fast, bag of hammers that literally spits flames on the overrun, but I suppose I should be thankful it gets me from A to B

She now has tax, MOT and insurance

Andiroo,
Back at last.

Made a few compromises though - took the sponsor decals off  raised the front by 15mm and the rear by 25mm, 1000lb springs changed to 750lb, and fitted a very HELLODARE horn for the MOT. Not sure how she passed emissions, he must have measured it from next door

She only has one seat, Recaro of course with harness, full cage, detachable MOMO steering wheel, 120 litre FIA tank with three pumps, plumbed in extinguishers, rose joint suspension, 930 4 speed with 935 clutch and Quaife diff, mostly fibre glass and carbon body, BBS GT 18x8.5 front, 18x11 rear with Michelin Pilot Cups (couldn't get the tyre for the 18x12 rears unfortunately), AP 380 6 pots front, 4 pot rear, adjustable bias, single Hybrid Garret, very hairy Garretson GT2 cams, twin plug heads, twin wastegates, adjustable boost to 1.6Bar, currently 520bhp@0.95Bar allegedly, weighs 1125kg with me and Blue on board, runs like Peter Kaye below 3000 rpm, the bodywork flaps like our mate Riz on a trackday, and she smells like Stevie Wonder tried to fill her up from 5 yards at the local Shell station.

Above 3000rpm I have to say it makes your head feel like you have a couple of kangaroos loose in the top field. There is nothing like the kick of these 'old' racing 930's on boost :D

Altogether a nice little project  and should be good for a few more bhp when I get the mapping right for 1.6Bar, and the roller bearing turbo arrives in January

Good to be back guys :P

Mad.......totally mad............but then you always were Andi :biggrin3:
Only thing missing is a towbar, for pulling the bowser behind you, 120 ltrs at 3 mpg isn't going to last long :bigblink:

Andy, you're gonna have to take up wrestling - picture the scene "it's a cold winters evening, it was raining a bit earlier and the temp has dropped below frezzing. You casually arrive at the roundabout and squeeze the throttle: 2000rpm - looking good; at 3000rpm (seems a bit early for a 930 GT2??) ........ ooooooooo ........... shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit."

Will take some decent piccies over the weekend guys,

-3000rpm seems a bit early for a 930 GT2?? Very true on an older Garrett but fortunately for me it's running a T30 hybrid which seems to spools up a lot quicker than normal :P Probably equivalent spooling to a roller bearing turbo.

Off to Vegas on the 17th, but if the software and serial interface arrives in time for some better mapping (for normal road driving) then Silverstone would be cool on the 15th :beerchug: fingers crossed,
