Avus RS4, A33 northbound

Post by MingBlueMagic » Wed Oct 06, 2004 9:27 am

This morning (06/10) at about 7.45. I didn't see the driver or the plate - too early in the morning to be that alert

Wonder if it was the same one I saw the other day?[/i]

Hmmn, I wonder who this other driver is. Again it could have been me, but for the fact that I wasn't on the 33 til about 8.15. Curiouser and curiouser!

Keep an eye out for a ming blue S3 heading south (or north in the evening) - if I see the car again I'll try to beep/flash.

Was looking this morning, but the weather was so grotty, probably wouldn't have noticed until too late anyway (not that awake normally :sleeping_2: !!)

Sorry, wasn't me. I haven't been driving that way for a few days due to the roadworks at the roundabout just over the M4 past the Black Boy.

Absolute nightmare. Unfortunately it means I have to out through Sindlesham and Arborfield now, instead of just getting on the A33 at Reading. As I understand it, the work isn't going to be finished for another few months too!!

Are you actually heading for Basingstoke, or just gaining access to the M3? My favourite route to the M3 is down the A32, past Swallowfield, Riseley, Mattingly and join the motorway at Hook. When I lived in Winnersh, I used to go Sindlesham/Mole Road. Of course they're digging the A32 up at the moment!
