Hmmmmmmmm recognised those roadworks before I read the text. Don't even get me started on Black Cat, second opportunity in ten years they have squandered putting a proper junction in. I read they are spending 5.6 million on the current roadworks...... doing what exactly?!?!

I live 1/2 mile from there - trust me it pains me!
They're changing the layout of the roundabout - will have 4 lanes southbound with the left most two going south without stopping for the roundabout. Northbound is going from 2 lanes to three, and they'll put full time traffic lights in on all junctions, but god knows what that'll do
They'll struggle to make it worse. On a bad day traffic is backed up 2 miles northbound, a mile southbound, and 5 miles down the 421...
