21/6 Marlow - C6 RS6 - Strange Colour?

Spotted a C6 RS6 coming towards me by the Three Horseshoes pub, reg V10 ***. I managed a quick flash of the lights.
Not sure of the colour, it looked like that flip flop colour changing paint you used to get on TVR's. I've certainly not seen that paint on an RS6 before.
