Parked up in Padstow today. First one I've seen, looks better in the metal than pictures especially in white. I'd still have a 458 though.

Yeah, I think one criticism when they came out was that they didn't sound good enough but I think McLaren have resolved that since. I couldn't wait for the owner of this one to return to have a listen, but it'd have to go some to beat a 458 soundwise. Every time I hear one of those I just grin stupidly. Last week a guy gunned one away from the lights in Poole in the opposite direction to us and you could hear it for bloody ages.

Not a decision I'm ever likely to have to make sadly though

Saw a 458 on the M40 today, WOW!
It was white but with a hint of grey and driven by a female, looked like Tara Palmer Tomkinson.
70mph on the button.
Saw a Black 63 reg 4C outside dealer in South Bham later that day, good but no cigar, saw an Evora today and it looked way too similar- not identical granted but lacking the drama of the Fezza

I feel the evora's shape was compromised by the packaging requirement of the rear bench seat... It's the worlds only mid engined 2+2 for reason. Shame actually as it's an absolute joy to drive and runs circles round some more complicated exotics

Every 458 I've seen has been utterly stunning. Strangely, I've yet to see a red one though  Perhaps the nicest one I saw was also parked up in Padstow - an ice white colour with black carbon roof.
