Black RS4 Loon today **** LNN M3 Junc 2 to 3

Post by R1RS4 » Tue Jul 01, 2014 7:25 pm

Just come off the M25 after 450 mile run out on the bike turned down on the M3 heading south, stuck behind an old bill car looking for trouble, on my best behaviour as I am running a 3 into 1 (loud) on the street triple and a slightly smaller than legal number plate

Just as we get on the M3 it's about 17 15 and I am still behind them doing 50mph low and behold a driver in a sign written estate car cuts across the white lane divider markings, on go the blue flashing lights and pull him over. I can now get on my way and blast home, just as I give it some I spots a nice looking Black RS4 loon (did not get enough time to get the rest of the plate but ended in LNN )in the middle lane some cool dude with the super dark shades on, so as I pass him I gives him a thumps up and blast I'm gone

R1RS4 hi there,

Sorry to bum on your post. But you say your running 3 into 1 on the street triple.
Is this the new one or pre '13 ?

I have wandered in to street triple life myself over the last couple of months, I'm wanting to get some noise.
Always handy to know what works.

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers buddy.

That's ok mate,

Never had a reply from any of the cars I have spotted anyway, but will keep trying

I did put street but I have the speed the 1050cc, mine's a March 2012 bike

First triumph I have owned always had Yams in the past

Yes I did not like the standard exaust sound so I listened to a few with the 3 into 1 low boy and thought that's for me

So I fitted it myself then had it remapped by Lilly's of Shepperton, does sound the buiseness now, does pop and crackle on fast de acceleration

I did try the street, nice bike but the mrs said she's not getting on the little bike so went for the speed instead, I had the the Vmax before so would have been to much of a step down

Thanks for the reply pal,

Ok, it's a speed. Not to worry, I will keep doing some research.

I loved the look of the twin cans under the seat on the older streets and the speeds. My best mate has just purchased a speed and he didn't like the twin look, so he had changed 3 - 1 and mounted on the side. Not heard it yet but he says it awesome. I have not ridden any other bikes than the one I learned on and my Street, I loved it the second inset eyes on it.
One I have a bit more experience I will go and borrow a Speed for a few hours, that should be great fun.

Stay safe and thanks for the reply.

Jay.
