You`ll find out in a few days time, i hear that the new systems are very fast in sending the fines out.... my dad got pulled by a bobby the otherday doing 39.9mph in a 30mph zone on the way to the markets.... he begged for his liecence and got away scot free! I'm waiting to see what turns up in the post too!
I spotted an inocuous-looking white escort van with yellow roof lights, very small 'Police' legend, and open rear window, parked in a lay-by. Not sure quite how fast I was going, but was well below the 'critical' speed by the time I was level with the van. Probably all depends on the distance at which the 'measurement' was being taken. This was on Tuesday, on the A404, going up to Handy Cross.

This might be tax disc checking, theres been a couple of these down our way, two cameras in the back of a white Transit then a few plod down the road to pull in any miscreats.

Oooo, I do hope so! However, this was on a derestricted dual carriageway, and I didn't see any further police presence - less than a mile to the roundabout, and no further lay-bys.

It's two weeks and a day since the encounter - I guess I can begin to relax now.
