Wheel nut cover removal tool...

Post by Teutonic Tuner » Wed Aug 15, 2012 10:30 pm

Just discovered that there's a better tool for removing the plastic wheel nut covers than the useless metal hook supplied in the Audi tool kit...

£3.50 from ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-AUDI- ... 2ec067370f

I take it I'm about 10 years behind everyone else then!

Aye, it comes in the kit in the boot? Or free with any order of new wheel nut caps?

I have the metal hook but not the plastic tool above, the hook is useless and makes it easy to mark the alloys

Think someone has put the wrong tool kit in yours then TT. The hook is for the large centre caps that would cover the centre of the wheel and all of the wheel nuts. Lady P_G has said hook for her A2 alloys.
