Aftermarket warranty with mods ?

My S4 is out of warranty and have been looking at aftermarket warranty options.
Warranty wise seem quite good value but state that they don't cover modifications, as planning a few subtle mods but not going to do them all at once, they do say to call for a quote for a modded vehicle. Has anyone had any experience of mods and warranties ?
