1000 rs6 plus'!?

Speaking to a former WRC champion recently about my rs4, he told me he still has his rs6 plus that his wife bought him for his 50th birthday..... According to him, when she originally tried to order one they were sold out but Audi made one extra when they found out who it was for..... Hense the 1000/999 plaque on his dash!
I didnt see it but cant imagine he would have any reason to make it up......

Hope i havnt ruined any rs6 plus' christmas :?

I didn't think they ever actually made the full 999 anyway?

the official numbers rarely include press cars, demo cars, mules, test cars etc
