Audi Customer service

Post by Iain_S4 » Thu Sep 01, 2011 10:30 pm

Does anyone have the telephone number to contact Audi UK customer service please? My RS4 went in for service today and the DRC has failed again :audibash: , the rear shocks this time but to the extent that the entire system may be replaced (I'm kind of embarrased  that I didn't notice). The work is covered by the extended warranty Audi have given on these parts but the dealership is so busy they want the car for 2 days next week and can not provide me with a replacement car. I live in a rural area and am on call next week so cannot manage without a car.

Want to call Audi UK direct as the website form passes it back for your local dealer to contact you.

Best bet is to plead for something basic off the used forecourt like an A1 or A3. Hoping for something slightly more interesting than one of those when my service is due, cannot imagine I've got much chance, but if you don't ask you don't get!! However I think asking for an RS6 might be pushing my luck......... :p

I know its not a god given right to a courtesy car but when the car is unavailable to me because of something that is covered by warranty I'd expect a bit more. The last 3 cars I have bought have all been Audi's but I'm getting fed up of the poor after sales service.

Go to an independent garage and get rid of the DRC.

Odds are that it will get fixed quicker and remain fixed for longer.

That's one of the best and worse aspects of the car.

Given that this repair will be FoC under warranty I'll stick with the DRC. If I keep the car longer term and it happens again and Audi will not repair DRC FoC then it will be off to an independent specialist to have KW fitted.
