New, on the look for a RS4

HI, been over to say hi in the welcome area, i am looking to buy a RS4 and have test drove 2, a want a saloon and hi spec with 30,000 miles ish, is their anything to look out for bar the usual, in one i was aloud to go out on my own and could drive it as i would if i owned it, when i pushed the s button on the s/wheel, nothing happened, is it ment to ? and i keep hearing they do not pruduce the clamed power, is this true and make sure discs and pads are good as they can cost, if their's anything else then your advice would be a great help as your the people who have owned them thanks for any help.

If there is no change in sound there there may be a vacuum problem. If you stand outside the car and activate the "S" button you will hear the valves clicking as they open/close. Also the exhaust note will change, and if the car has the buckets the seats bolsters will move (if selected in the Driver Information Display to do so).
