Had the car for a week now after 2 months in the garage and lots of phonecalls to the garage that tried to rip me off! Loving the car, still not as perfect as I would like but getting there. If I ever get bored of that v8 through quad mtm I will shoot myself!
Anyway on to business, probably have a couple of thousand miles left ony pads and noticed quick fits pads for life deal. Called them and they confirmed they quoted £180 odd quid (fronts) and confirmed they would honour the offer. They also offered 2 types including Bosch.
Now no offence to quick fit but would not normally trust them to check my tyre tread but this sounds like a pretty cheap deal - any thoughts?
Ps I have never noticed before but since I have had the rs I have seen 2 "s6"s locally. The first looks the part but is a 2.7t, the other was a diesel! Don't get me wrong I am not trying to compare knob size and fair play for making you car look more aggresive but why badge it? No offence but I don't get it!
Brake pads for life - too good to be true?
My local Kwik Fit offered me the same deal on pads only- It's for real and they do honour the "for life of your ownership" T&Cs. But it's patent parts not OEM!!
The manager at my KW and two of his fitters are absolute car nuts/freaks and they are always of to the "ring", Spa and Monza for track days in various upgraded and or mapped S3s, S4s,RS4 etc....... not been tempted myself with the pads offer as i need new discs all road and am of to see Grizz next week
