Name and shame dealerships?

Post by sonny » Wed Jul 29, 2009 10:22 am

Lets name and shame the dealerships that have upset us.

Don't worry there will be a name and promote dealership thread too to counter balance the argument as we know they are all not that bad.

Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

POOLE AUDI: Excellent sales, aftercare non-existent. Go to the chap (Elliot) who sold me the car if I need any help, he is great.
Rest have been very poor, make me want to never enter the showroom again. :bash:

Are stealers outside the UK included? If so,then i would like to add "Bourguignon" in Leeuwarden(Netherlands).

A financial horrorstory:

When i just got my RS4 beginning last year,i noticed some hesitations and a "Darth Vader"-ish sound at full boost after replacing the DV's(old ones leaked),so i took it to them and one mechanic there had supposedly RS4 knowledge
After a more then 2 days search they told me they couldn't find the problem and i got the bill a week later: 1700 Euro's (about 1500 GB Pounds)because of 17 hours work+ me still with the problem :x

Now watch this: after i heard that the Dutch S/RS-specialist was Hartog in Alkmaar,i took it to him and guess what:He knew within 2 minutes(!) driving what the problem was, hearing the sound-->compressor-surge due to a bad map by the previous owner!
So he custom remapped it and it was a new car and problem gone!

They did a cambelt service on mine without using a crank pin or camlock bar so the timing was out. They didn't bother with the tensioners, water pump, V belt, thrmostat either so the whole job had to be corrected at a specialist. Not using a camlock bar and crank pin is very bad news..
