Replacing a shock absorber

Post by Dippy » Wed May 20, 2009 2:12 pm

My MY01 B5 S4 has H&R coilovers, and at my recent service I had an MOT advisory that the front nearside shock absorber is down on damping and has a slight leak.

Can anyone advise what is involved in replacing a shock absorber - I want to decide if this is something I can do myself.

Not sure about actually changing the shock but they should be changed in pairs.
