How much?? (Hampshire / Dorset)

Phoned Audi today to get a diagnostics session booked in. Poole Audi (1/4 mile from my house) quoted £150 for an hours labour. I nearly carked it on the phone. I then phoned Southampton Audi (35 miles from home) and they quoted £85 for an hours labour. How does that figure?
It makes sense to travel the distance as even the fuel differnce will be cheaper.
Has anyone else seen such robbery?

Just phoned Poole back and they have now said that they can do it for £109 inc vat. Still a hike from £85, but not outrageous.

If you are talking about a fault scan I'll do it for free if you can get to fleet in Hampshire (beers always welcome of course!). Theiving barstewards.

I'd hardly call that labour, taking the piss more like it..For that sort of money you can set yourself up with vag-com and DIY
