Courtesy / Loan cars

what is the position with courtesy or loan cars when your Audi is in an Audi dealer getting some work done? I've never seen anything advertised or in any paperwork that says I'm absolutely entitled to one but equally I've always been given one without asking.

Is the cost of it just bundled in the overall servicing costs - i.e. it's not 'free' - we're paying for it anyway? What happens if you get a car and the work is being covered by a third party warranty company - do Audi bill the warranty company for the loaner?

Just out of interest... Anyone know?

The loan cars are a courtesy, if you need one you can request one, the dealer covers the insurance, etc but the excess is pretty hefty usually £750. The cost is already covered and probably gets spread onto everyone bills irrespective of actually needing one only thing you have to do is make sure the fuel is replenished and pay any speeding or parking tickets you incur.
