robbing bast***s

Post by APM » Tue Dec 09, 2008 9:29 pm

just thought i'd post some interesting facts;
My b7 rs4 is well out of warranty with 85500 miles on it when i have needed wok done,these are the costs;
new clutch Audi £2658.66 then dropped to 1882.74 when itold them APS price of £950.00 all in.
New front discs and pads all round Audi £1360.00 APS £680.00.
Drc rear shocks Audi £4980.00. APS replaced all suspension with KWv3's £1380.00.H&r sway bars £300.00.
The clutch from APS included new slave & master cylinders.From what i can gather there are three or four good independants on this forum depending on where you live,all i can say is use them for anything you have to pay for and stealers only for warranty work. :wink: your warranties are not void by using these independants as they use oem parts etc,whatever Audi will tell you.

tis a sad one to come across in RS ownership. The stealers are Dick Turpins in every sense when warranty runs out. I haven't bothered to renew mine as the stealer wanted stupid hi sky premiums for it. Best stick to the independants, furthermore, the likes of MRC and Unit 20 are far far more thoro than the YTS's the steamers employ. My pennies worth there. Done!
RS6 (MRC'd with econodrive) is not just for Xmas

Stear away from them Stealers. 5 hour round trip for me to have both my cars serviced and looked after at APS.
