warranties 2000

Post by bobjebb » Sun Oct 12, 2008 9:20 pm

Cheap nasty name and mirrored by their website.

Their platinum product was supplied with the car I just bought privately, (Provided by Fontain originally)simple £25 transfer fee.

I get a letter straight back saying we are unable to provide cover. That's it!

No explanation. Has anyone heard of this lot and would you recommend challenging this?

Otherwise, is there another 3rd party product people currently recommend? Will try Tesco

Thanks
RS4 B5. Where it all started.
RS6+ Never to be replaced.
Replaced by: 997 Turbo. Didn't like.
Replaced by RS6. I like(d).
Land Rover Defender. Not as nippy.
Back with C6 RS6
And again C7 RS6

Tesco looks good IMO and I will taking cover out with them.
Cheap, and seem to cover what you'd need (especially those turbo's!?)
£259 I was quoted, for the year - can't complain.

Just in case others were looking into the Tesco Warranty - they have suspended products that would apply to vehicles of 3.5l and over.

It is a temporary measure apparently - they are due to call a list of people who are waiting to hear when it's available again.
