Should have put this here in the first place:

Yawn.

But who has any advice on insurance regarding buying a car and then taking it straight to one of the tuners.

Do you say no mods but will be, or ask if they will cover afterwards?

Or are there insurers that understand a bit about the cars and what we like to do to them!

Remaps I presume nothing is said, but if I can find the right car I'll be going stage 3 on the way home. Any advice welcome.

Warranty, same questions really, what and when do you disclose? One car is a private sale with no warranty, so would need to fix something up before purchase. Any help welcome here too.

Thanks!

i use herts. i find if i tell them the mods that im about to perform the day i pay for the policy, they'll usually waive the admin fee for the change. done it a few times with plates, but not with a chip or serious mod. worth a try though.
