Insurance

Post by SteveH » Sun Jun 15, 2008 2:27 pm

Have sold my RS6, so for the first time in about 15 years I do not currently own a car and will not until my new one arrives and I collect it 1st September...

Question is, what do I do with my insurance?? Do I cancel the policy and take the rebate and no-claims certificate? is there any disadvantage in not having continuity of insurance ownership from one car to the next??

Or do I just leave it and ammend the policy when the new car arrives?

Haven't been in this position before so wondered what you think, anyone had same experience? guidance?

Tbh i would call your insurance company , You don't want to leave the old car on the policy as this can could back fire on you ( long story ). You can leave a policy 2 years before you re use it and keep our no claims discount..
