Insurance, just to save you wasting your time

Post by victor2vt » Fri May 16, 2008 5:39 pm

I filled an online insurance request for a B7 RS4 Saloon and valued it, at

what I thought was a fair £45,000, with the company that advertises on

this site, Noel Dazely.

Just to let you know they only insure Audi models with a value of £25,000 or lower.

Shame they don't state that on the first page of the online form to save people a lot of time !

Must be new or some other variable that has caused that.... My 6 plus is insured with them.

I'd be interested if someone else asks for a quote on a similar car and posts their response here

That's very odd seeing as how they are a broker. They should have access to plenty of different products from various insurers.

I'm surprised too,

I'm 55

Only 3 points on licence

Never done for DD

9 years NCD

No police record

Tracker on car

No prosecutions pending

Would not quote because of value of car.

Had the same thing for my '6 from Noel Dazely and Greenlight as well, never heard of anyone not covering a vehicle due to the value!
