Hi, Ive be phoning around to get a price for my car insurance.
Living in London its been a bit of a nightmare as you can imagine.
Some insurance companies wont insure because of the area, such as Greenlight which is a shamed as they seem to keep quite a few guys here happy.
Ive also tried A plan, and brent acre and a one or two others with no such luck. Could nyoen with such experiences make a list of insurers that specialise in modded cars that set an agreed value to the car in the event that anything happen to thy beloved so that they will pay out that agreed value / like for like. the last thing I want is spending £10,000 on a car and some idiot smashing into it a month later and only getting paifd out for market value.
Thanks.

Is it worth trying Adrian Flux?

Naaaa AF were rubbish for me!
Greenlight were good and I got a slightly better quote through Noel Dazely.
For reference I live in South London, am 25, 1 yr NCB. Car is an RS4 with MTM 420 B7 brakes and koni adjustables all around. Insurer replaces mods, free euro cover, courtesy car, legal cover. £500 excess. £1225
Greenlight were the same cover but £1272....
