Just had reply from Stoke Audi for 30k service RS6 £270 inc VAT is it just me or is that really cheap

theyre gonna get mine at that price all the same

That will just be for oil, filter, dtc scan and look under the car with a torch I suspect - cheap??

20, 40, 60, 80 are major service... 10, 30, 50, 70 are minor service so 30K for that price is about right, last I paid for a minor was £220 but that was a year or so ago so labour prices will have risen a bit.

So that's 10l of oil & a filter & 1 hour labour from a mec that does not care about your car..

and in my experience they don't scan for faults as a matter of course. i was told they only scanned them if there was a fault, when i asked how they'd know there was a fault if they didn't scan it we got into a very messy chicken, egg, chicken type debate. i was bitterly dissapointed since they'd just emptied Mrs shineys purse to the tune of 400 beer tokens. needless to say i do it myself now
