Does any one know what these guys are like? Service etc?
Ive been given a very good quote by them. Elephant my current insurance is chargin £1000
Others are charging me £2500, £2000 and £1500.
Brent are asking for £850 and that includes cosmetic modifications and they will cover like for like if i have the car upgraded to a stage 3.
My worry is thatIve not heard of them (been told they are vw audi specialists in insurance) but id like to know what service is like in event of a claim etc.
Thanks

i'm with brentacre. have been for over 3 years i think, always very good service, nice people to talk to - they know their dubs, i was with them for my modified mk2 golf GTI and the mk4 GTTDI. they did me what seems a good deal on the s4 too considering my age (22). they cover modifying really reasonably too, or seem to anyway.

Brentacre would not even quote me... based on age + mods.
I went with Greenlight who quoted me 1250 all mods declared - 24 y/o foreigner w/ 6Yrs NCB protected + legal cover + value including mods.

I've been with Brentacre for well over 10 years on both my own car and also the wifes, really pleased with the service and renewal. Thankfully I've never had to make a claim but if I did I'd think they would provide as good a service as anywhere else.
They've covered all of my mods and all I have to do is call them if I add anything else (no price increase unless it is a huge upgrade in power).
I'd recommend them!

If you are ever thinking about trakdays, why not consider Greenlight as they offer tracday cover for only £50 a pop (excl Castle Combe)

One of the few advantages of being old, I've just had my Direct Line renewal notice at £500.
