Bizarrely cheap fixed cost maintenance

I have just arranged 3 years worth of maintenance at £17.99 per month for my RS4. So £215 per year.

This is only for 6k miles per annum (I do more like 5k but this was the minimum allowed) so 18k over 3 years but this is outstanding value.

What is the cost for years 1, 2 and 3 services for an RS4 on fixed annual service schedule? Must be £300+?

My deal covers 3 annual services + all consumables and wear and tear items - brake discs, pads, clutch + tyres!

I expect to need 1 set of tyres during the 3 year period which must cost close to £1k.

Only exclusions are punctures, oil top ups between services or damage due to driver abuse, accidents or tracking.

Anyone else done this as it seems a no-brainer deal?

Thats rediculous! Nice one

You can bank on atleast one set of tyres and maybe front pads in that time!

Whats the score with taking that puppy on the track and caining a set of tyres and pads within 1k ;)

Wouldn't that come under driver abuse?

Suppose so, but who would own up to that?!?!?!?!

Adam - what were the prices like for higher mileage?

Earlier threads on the RS6 forum advised similar, obviously costs more for higher mileage but still worth thinking about... A number of owners ripped through a load of tyres and brakes and Audi had to stump up the goods. Fair play to them, costs to them are partly covered in the high margin made on new car sales; shame you can't get the same deal on used.

Costs went somehtig like £13 for service, £15 + consumables, £18 + tyres

Sorry did not ask about higher mileage although have heard it does go up reasonably - see similar thread I started on Audi Chat forum on TSN (delete if this breaks rules) for some examples. Add £10 for 10k miles or £20 for 15k miles etc.

But these were on A3 / A4 so the prices do not seem to reflect major model differences. Even at £70pcm I reckon this would work out cheaper for me even on my low mileage, given new set of tyres and front pads in 3 years.

Think you can sign up a car to 10 months old
