I was on my way into work this morning and I got an oil warning light and beep from the dash, I was about to pull over and check it when it cleared.
After this the speedo could not keep a constant speed, the needle was waving around.
The Rev Counter was doing the same but the engine revs where stable.
is my Dash on the way out
how much will this cost
will i every get round to doing my Aquamist install

Oh dear... that sounds nasty. Maybe just an earth that has gone a bit mad? Take it out, clean up the contacts and put it back in again? Check the oil level obviously...

I had the low oil level flash on mine once or twice about a year ago. First time I panic'd as I'd only had the car a short time and bought some oil at the first garage I got to. Opened the bonnet to find the oil level fine. Happened once more then never again.
The car had been stood for a while before I bought it so I guess that could have been the reason. As Leon says, check your earths, they are the route of all evil!

I tend to try not to worry too much about faults that come and go. When they've gone you ain't gona find them anyway!

I would not be surprised, I heard about the ford explorer just deciding it was a good tme to give the owner a taste of full throttle and then sticking there until the horrified owner crashed after they had burn out the brakes. ford and windows partnership written all over it, bill and henry
