Hi Craig,

I only read the first post and the last page and assume that this is not sorted to your satisfaction yet. I can understand the situation because one of our tenants in our office building is a "broker". I know that he has had some bad experiences like this and sadly your contract is with the broker and nobody else. The broker made the contract with the stealership. Therefore you need to persue the broker to have the work rectified. Our tenent has been caught in a similar fashion but it only involved a clutch on a Citroen and then backing the car.

Hope you get this sorted really quickly.

By the way - on a recent visit to Hatfield Audi there was an Avus RS4 (bought elsewhere I need to add) and it was in need of loads of work......not yours?

How long has this been going on for, i had a similar situation with a mitsubishi Warrior a little while back although not through a broker it was main dealer. They told me they dont do refunds i quoted the sale of goods act and how i would sue for loss of earnings to my employee thus losing me money bla bla bla and i would drive the firkin thing straight through there showroom window if they didnt, money back that afternoon. Seems to me no offence you want to grow a back bone and some balls and start showing some authority, sorry if i have spoken out of turn but this sort of thing really winds me up.

Thanks guys, Audi UK have today agreed to foot the entire bill. A great gesture from them considering it was solely the dealers fault. I am very happy with the end result. The bill looks set to be very large too.

Thumbs up for audi customer service.

Craig - I am so pleased for you. It's good to hear Audi CS getting a gold star for once. Personally I rate Audi CS very highly, though others knock them.

Seconded, glad to see you got what you deserved.

Audi UK and my local dealership have always been good to me too, credit where it's due.

Glad you got your car sorted in the end Criag and sorry to see you were another victim, sorry, customer of Tyneside Audi / Colebrook & Burgess. They are an utter shower and are well documented for being so on several other forums. We have just bought an A2 from them and it has already been back four times for bodywork repairs that weren't done before we picked it up which were identified before transaction complaetion to be done.

I don't let them touch my S4 now, not even with a sponge.
