Just taken the beast into Camberley Audi toi have them sort the DRC and several other minor items under warranty.
- Took the car in within an hour of first call
- Really knowledgeable, helpful and intersted guys to meet me
- Car immediately onto ramp for discussion with technician who knew exactly what he was talking about
- Promise of real action to sort problems!
Can't believe how different this experience was from the Crawley experience (they had car for 4 weeks, took no interest, had an accident whilst out testing, and returned car with problem not fully sorted!).
Of course, the proof will be when the car comes back, but I'm absolutely sure they'll get it sorted, even if it takes a few goes!
They'll be in my nominations for "Dealer of the year". If your in this area, let's reward them with our business!

They seemed friendly enough when I asked for a price for a key recode. None of the "oh you should buy a new key from us" crap. Just that they would charge half hour. If it took longer they would cover it. But having said that I bet it would only take 10 minutes...
Look forward to hearing how you get on throughout

I've purchased all 5 Audis that I've owned from Camberley Audi - because they have always done what they said they would and treated me well.
Hope you have the same experience.

That's good to hear. Last time I went there they charged me 120 quid to re-align the headlights.
Though they were a cunch of bunts. Perhaps I need to give them a second chance...

Well, picked car up first thing this morning from Camberley - and it's transformed! At long last the suspension feels secure and the car is properly balanced and stable through corners!
Very pleased with dealer - thoroughly helpful, sorted the problems (and some I didn't know I had!) all under warranty with minimum of fuss. Feel confdent now that if I have any more problems I can go straight back and they'll sort it!
Also told them about this forum, so they'll be monitoring from now on to get the feedback (good and bad!)
Now all I have to do is try and resolve the outstanding issues I still have with Crawley - they stiill have done nothing to repair the damage that occurred while they were driving the car (six weeks on!)

Just been back to Crawley Audi to try and get things sorted out there. Contrast to Camberley couldn't be greater (for the worse!)
I've been chasing them to sort out the paperwork for 6 weeks - repeated promises, but no action. Today they tried "Oh very sorry sir, but my printers broken so I can't do it!" When I exclaimed (with mild sarcasm, that I didn't believe that Crawley Audi only had one printer it suddenly repaired itself and was able to work! (What planet do they think customers come from??)
Still haven't got the repair to the bumper damaged whilst in their care (??!) sorted - they needed me to go and find the tel number of the insurers for the guy that hit the car!
They have said they will fix it...... but I have my doubts....
One good thing though - met the Sales Manager on the way out as he recognised the car as one he sold to Ed. I think he may kick some ass to get things moving.
So Camberley

Crawley

Fantastic... first post I have read where more than one person has something possitive to say about a particular dealer. Seems you guys are quite lucky. Unfortunately in the Southwest they all are sh!t - owned by the same group

That's because you send them a Christmas card every year
I've used Camberley a few times now and i must say they are great.
Better than past experiences with BMW and Merc, and i felt my local BMW dealer was good.
Cars in as we speak and looking forward to getting it back.
Top marks for Camberley Audi, service and sales. (Yet to buy from them though)

I'll second that!
Had the car in yesterday to get the Tyre pressure sensor system sorted (which they have done under warranty).
When I called them to book car in they asked how the DRC was, and I said it was 99% right, but I still wasn't 100% sure. Off their own backs they checked over the DRC (checking the pressure was still right up there - it was) and they discovered some play in the "bent" front suspension arms. These have been replaced under warranty, and I must say the car now (finally!) feels tight and predictable - in fact "fantastic!"
So Camberley rocks, OK!
Dave
PS - and the girl on reception is nice too!!

I was going to stat a new topic on this one
Chatting this evening with the service guys and made a comment like
"How do you get any work done here with that kind of view all day"
After a few complements given to her i then find out she was in FHM for some kind of photo shoot.
For all you Audi owners that want to find a better place to get your cars serviced, go to Camberley Audi.
And if you've got many miles to travel don't worry, greeting Michelle makes you all refreshed when you get there

Car back last night, inspected today. Not happy.
New rear window covered with finger marks and an all over film of dirt/mist, i think Leo and winslet have been in the back.
Parcel shelf seats and carpet covered with bits
Rear electric blind not working.
An identity card that was in the back window i told them to keep.
This is now missing.
All this and the car was in for 4 days, 2 days longer than they said.
They've been really good up till now. Hope things change and this is a one off......
Got to take it back AGAIN now to get fixed.

Mmmmm...... She was on a weeks leave
Rear window's still not clean though! ! !
Drove to Dorking tonight and all the way back when someone was behind i could see a film over the glass. Someone had tried to clean it but not cleaned it all over, half clean half looked untouched.
Love to take a picture but i don't think it would come out. Not going to say anymore to Audi as it's getting embarrassing, they must think I'm a right piss taker
Looks like I'll have to do it. As they say, "if you want a job done right........"
