Hi

Do Audi service hourly rates vary between garages? I'm looking to get a second key programed to the car and have been quoted a half hour rate at about £50 + vat by Camerley Audi.

Anywhere else in this area that are cheaper?

A little cheaper but Bedford ain't local for me.

Best you find a local VAG-COM owner. Take a look on tyresmoke, they have a VAG-COM forum.

I know some of the guys on there and some maybe local to you...

Yep, I know. Just don't like paying out the cash for such an easy job (if I had the code)

Is there no law against them with holding information regarding the car. Gives them a monopoly doesn't it!

Cheapest Audi mian dealer I've found is Poole Audi in Dorset- For cars over 4 years old they only charge £50/hr.

I was under the impression that the older the car, the higher the rate, not less.....
