Trackers and Insurance

The cost of having the Tracker in my car checked, transferred to me, activated and the the first years preimum amount to a tidy sum. Luckily future years not so expensive.
So I was not too impressed when I found out the Admiral group of insurers will not give me a discount. Apparently the value of the car doesn't warrant it and they do not class a Tracker as a theft deterrent as you are not meant to advertise the car having it.
So aiming this question more at the B5 S4 owners and similar value, do you guys have any experience of modification friendly insueres that actually give a discount for having your car fitted with a Tracker?
With the thefts I read on here, I can't understand why insurers do not encourage this.
