Nice RS dealerships

Post by Riz_RS4 » Fri May 19, 2006 8:16 pm

Just wondering, are there any RS dealerships around the Yorkshire area.... basically want to be looked after when it comes to servicing and warranty work.

Any recommendations?

Perhaps make this a sticky topic so other people can see whos "good and whos "bad" for looking after our pride and joy!

Riz :)

Persoanl experience would make me think twice about Gilders, Wakefield, and Franklin.

I drive to Coventry for my work.

Just come back from APS in Oxford. Had the car checked over and there are many faults that the main dealer has ommited to notice. Very worrying indeed!!! I will be travelling down to these guys for all my service work. It's a long way, but well worth it and a great drive.......

Can anyone suggest a good independent specialist in the SW of England - i.e. SW of Bristol.... My RS4 will need its 40K cam service soon. I know MRC have a good reputation (although a bit of a trek for me), but do they do full service work as well as tuning?

dace - do you have a web address/contact details for APS?

serious recommendation. "Chester Audi". Customer is important there.

I have also tried all dealers in around my home Bolton Warrington Blackburn Preston Stockport Lancaster Manchester Central locations. All simply blinkered and too busy to do the work properly. Simply if you want more than 1 job done and for the mechanics to be proactive don't waste your time or money on a dealer unless they really show enthusiasm and genuine interest in your car.

Keep trying until you find a good garage its wort it. Best of luck
