No Castrol 5W40 in UK ??

Hello guys,

Did try to find some Castrol oil 5W40 , i can find none..!! It is available in France but not here aparantly. Am i wrong ??

Just try to find an alternative, the 0w30 i think is not good enough and the 10W60 is too much. I know this have been discuss before but do you know a good alternative?

Mobil 1 0w-40
Silkolene 5w-40 (this is all group v's I think so should be good)

I'm using Castrol Edge Sport (previously called "RS"). If it's good enough for VW Racing, it's good enough for me It's 0W-40 and basically their top oil for high performance vehicles.

I do change it every 5k though as there is usually at least one track day every 5k miles....

Cant go wrong with M1 0w-40 - in temperate climates 5w-40 would do.

Think will go for Castrol edge sport 0W40. A good friend did recommend me some TXTS castrol 5W40, can be find in france but not here i think, did you hear about it? I have been told it is top for RS4.
