V5 info needed

V5 info needed

I have asked a question in the rs4 (b5) section but thought I would post a more general question here.

I am in the process in buying an RS4 from a independent dealer nr Plymouth they say it has two previous owners but on the HPI check it was first registered in Northern Ireland then registered in mainland UK in 2004

Will the DVLA V5 show the number of owners from all UK countries (inc Northern Ireland) or just the ones from first mainland regisration in 2004 ?

If the latter is the case the car has had more than two previous owners and the dealer is telling porkies !

Sorry, don't know the specific answer to your question - perhaps the DVLA website FAQ's will answer?

Might be worth contacting an Audi dealer to see what the service history is..might reveal the number of owners?
