Hi There Guys,

Just bought a W plate S6 Saloon from Fontain. Great bunch of guys, couple of probs with the sale and preparation of the car but they went to hell and back to sort it out for me so great news there. Trouble is is I live in Norwich and they are in Slough. We have a local Audi dealership here in Norwich but its run by Robinsons and they are notoriously bad, plus as most of you know Audi dealers are about £100.00 an hour labour which I think is rediculous!

Anyways was wondering if any of you knew of any Audi specialists in Norwich or Norfolk whom I go go to in future?

My car is a Silver 4.2 V8 40v (Not sure why it says 32v on forum title) 41,000 miles FSH and nothing really but a few scratches on it that I have to get done. I love it so far, its great, always wanted a V8 and now I have one Very pleased indeed.

Using Tesco 99Ron with no probs, have tried optimax too and cant see much between them.

Just before I go one more question, have a couple of niggle things wrong with the car that I need to sort ou and was wondering for a couple of pointers.

1) NSR tweeter in bose system doesnt work. Do I have to take whole door card off to get to it? or can you get them out from the front? dont want to break it by forcing it thats all.

2) Each door has a red light and a white light underneath. Should they all light up? only 3 of the underneath white ones do, and only the drivers door red one does.

3) When the alarm is on there are 2 leds on the front lock stalks that light up. Only one of mine seems to. The drivers one doesnt. SHould I attempt to take the door apart to look at it? or should I let a specialist (If I can find one) do it?

Sorry for going on so long but just want to get these niggly thigs done and them ill be truly happy.

Harford Bridges Definately is. Am going to check Blue Boar this weekend

Blue boar are advertising super unleaded but it only seems to be 97 RON.
Am still stuck for Audi specialist in Norfolk. Anyone know of any?

I dont know of any. The previous owner of my S4 had used Norwich VW Centre on Vulcan Road Ind Estate to do minor services. I have never tried them myself but he felt they were good.

There is a little place that is a VW/AUDI specialist on the Lowesoft Road - it's called Yelverton Garage. I think the guys there are all ex VAG engineers. It's where I shall be taking mine at the end of the month

I have used Robinsons for my S4 for getting on 4 years now, its interesting to hear your comments regarding their service.

I have had one problem that i can think of, damaged wire to air intake temp sensor following a cambelt change (that i had to pay for, £400 i think).

I also saw on pistonheads last week that i guy that lives just down the road from them regularly sees service guys driving customers cars that b#stards down the road.

Seriously considering whether to take my car back there again.
