Am I right in thinking that the standard UK warranty is 3yrs or 60k miles ?? if so what happens if you pass the 60k towards the end of the 2nd year ? Do i have to look at getting an extended warranty or is this something that is left at the dealer discretion for warranty claims ?

I've done nearly 45k now and its just coming upto 2 years old, although i'm likely to do less miles over the next year (moved closer to work). I just want to think ahead a little incase I need to find some additional dosh.

You can buy a top up to take you to three years once you pass the 60k miles.

Dunno how much it is though, your dealer will be able to tell you.
