Looking for some help with a dsg gearbox. I have a fault with the mechatronics unit on a car with low down front kerb damage. One of the coils has been damaged and although they remove from the main mechatronic board i am told they are not available individualy. I would rather not shell out £1500 on a new unit just because one small pin is broken. If anyone can help as to how/where/who makes this part or any dealer has one they have changed under warranty, second hand box from a breaker or any other suggestions....

Managed to fix it today. Amazing what you can do yourself (with the help of a talented mate) when faced with a big bill..
