Service Book

Post by bobjebb » Thu Oct 07, 2004 9:28 am

I have a an Audi duplicate service book for my RS4. It's been through the same dealer since new, but the salesman doesn't know of its whereabouts.

Anyone recommend a course of action - get stroppy or is it not a big deal as everything is stamped up and obviously all recorded on 'Dialogue' anyway? I'm thinking re-sale issues...

People have been selling new blank service books on ebay recently. No data sticker, pdi stamp etc, but no DUPLICATE plastered all over it either. Dealers will retro-stamp it for you no problem.

Cheers

Should be no reason why the original book is not present, mine lives, like many others, in the wallet under the sterring column, never leaves the car unless it is being stamped, and the dealer always hands it to me to check before handing me the bill...............
