Local Audi dealer... "what's PCD mean"

Just called my local Audi dealer to confirm the PCD of my vehicle....

The Audi staff member returned with whats PCD? Then the line went quiet and I heard a muffled "Barry.. whats PCD mean... Chap on the phone asking.."

"Barry" didnt even know!

To be fair, why would a dealership want to know what 'PCD' a cars wheels are ? They have their option wheels specified for particular models, and all they need to know is the models they fit and the overall size.

That's true, plus the service reception people are there to keep you away from the technicians as well.

My dealer was good but became a lot better once I could ring a technician directly to get my car looked at and who then passed it to service reception to be managed.

You pay top money for a top car so expect top service.

Just gets me thinking when dealers fail to produce top results.

I could understand if I rang citroen and they had no idea what PCD meant..

what does PCD stand for Im an audi technician and i dont know, Its not that im thick but hell! do you realise how many abreviations there are ? bloody loads and your exspectng some under qualified service receptionist to know?
