AMD's Service

After the hassle ive had the last few weeks i feel compelled to write about the poor service that i have received from Auto-AMD.
I called them up to order a set of H&R springs for my S2, which is a coupe and they were told that more than a dozen times over the phone. And also suggested a part no which others have fitted to be told that it was a full suspension kit and wasnt the right no.
They found the 'right' no then i had to pay the £30+ postage to have it delivered. On arrival it was plainly obvious they werent for my S2. So i called them up and initially it looked like a simple swap.
Anyway a call back and was told that it would we an extra 145+vat on top of what i had already paid to supply the ones to suit. Not happy with the price i decided i would return them to them.
Having given them a call to arrange for their courier to collect there wrongly sent part i was told it was up to me to send it back to them at my expense and i would be charged a 10% surcharge because I had given them the part no. for the springs which i had NOT!
So in the last three weeks ive had to spend alot of my time dealing with the hassle of a cocked up order from AMD. they eventually realised that they had made the error but still refused to pay for the collection of the parcel so ive taken a 100mile round trip to take them back because im sick of the hassle it has caused me and finally got my money back. And for the priveledge of trying to buy from what i thought was a reputable company im now out of pocket by about £25 in what it has cost me to take them back, and it would have been even more if i had to post them!
Needless to say i wont be buying anything from AMD in the future.
