Warranty Direct

Hi,

Thinking about taking out a warranty direct 3rd party
warranty as it seems pretty good value at 450GBP for
a year and SEEMS to cover most things (even wear and
tear). Anybody have any experience of this.

I already have a 'Gold' (as in Iron Pyrite) warranty from
WHS (which I got with the car) which has a 2k claim limit
and I am told is pretty much worthless.

What do you guys think?

Cheers,

Jon

I took a warranty out with them just before Christmas

I told them that it was and S4 and the paperwork confirmed that they had got it correct, but it said that the car did not have a turbo or 4WD.

I called them to ammend the paperwork and they said they would send out a new copy.

Anyway after waiting over 2 weeks it did not arrive. I told them that if they get details like this wrong then what are they going to be like if i make a claim and i asked for a refund.

Just my opinion of them, they may be good but i didnt want to be in the situation of arguments with them when i claimed for a £4k turbo replacement.

Thanks for the reply.

I took out 1 year with Warranty Wise for £350. They
seemed OK. We will see.......
