My S3 needs a service

Options are Ridgeway in Newbury or Whites in Camberley.
I have never heard a bad word said about Ridgeway but they are quite a fair bit further away and more expensive.
Has anyone got an opinion or view as to why I shouldn't use Whites and should make the extra effort to go to Ridgeway or are Whites equally as good ?

I can recommend Links in Macclesfield. Ok so its a bit of a trek but worth it.

I recently considered Ridgeway but decided to go to AmD instead. Maybe one day I'll get an Audi UK dealer stamp in my book...
I can also recommend Martins in Basingstoke - they will pick up and drop of your car (and they cover quite a big area!).

Thanks guys.
Well I kinda thought I would just use Whites as they are localish, but now it seems making the effort to go down the motorway will be a good idea.
Re: the coils packs in your other post Dunc, did they offer to replace them or did have to ask ? The reason I ask is because I mentioned this when asking about a service and they said they wouldn't replace them unless I'd had a failure

I think the is sometimes a common practice by dealers... either way even if you car is out of warranty Audi UK assure me that they will still be FOC!

same happened with me back in May but apparently now, they will replace them as they have caught up with the backlog.. Ask/insist that they are changed. Funny really as my coil pack breakdown the other week cost Audi a lot more money.

Funny one this. I asked before the service and they said the same thing to me - no.
When I picked the car up they told me they had replaced all 4 coil packs , and when I questioned as to why, they told me that Audi had said if a car comes in for some work and it has a certain chassis number range, change the coil packs.
So not quite a recall, just a "if you are in" sort of thing

Just to point out so I don't come across as completely anti Whites here, I still use them, in fact had some more warranty work done today by them. They have been very good to me and my car is obviously modified (brakes and suspension) and they havent said a word.
They obviously made a mistake on my car with the valve being left unplugged but if you read Audi-sport.net there is a guy on there who had the same thing done to him by AMD!
Point being AMDs reputation is concrete, but we all make mistakes.
I will still be using Whites, but mostly because they are local to me.
